Machine Wash, Gentle Cycle Machine-wash at not more that 30°C with gentle cycle. Use only dermatologist recommended organic based detergents.
Do Not Bleach Do not bleach Cottonique products as it will damage the hypoallergenic properties and aesthetics of the fabric.
Tumble Dry, Low Rinse it thoroughly then dry on low temperature.
Iron Dry or Steam, Low Iron or steam with low heat if needed
Note: Seeing some dark spots in your garments? Don't worry about it! These little specks are actually cotton seeds that remained after our chemical-free processes, indicating that the fabric remains purely organic and thrives freely without toxic bleaches, dyes, or textile chemicals.
Once your garments have been washed, these cotton seeds will gently disappear, too. They will not cause any harmful reaction to the skin as they are normally inherent to natural cotton material. So, the next time you see notice them, be glad about it! You're holding nature's wonder in your hands.
My Cottonique drawstring lounge pants are great! They are super soft, very comfortable, and fit my very small frame well; less the length, which I knew ran long, so did not fret about needing to hem them. As others have noted, yes, the drawstring is very wide and fairly thick, but I have gotten used to it and actually appreciate it more now than I initially did.
I love these pants! It's so hard to find good quality 100% cotton clothing! So glad I found you. I now have 3 pairs!
I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and possibly also Multiple Chemical Sensitivity/Toxicant-Induced Loss of Tolerance. The amazing thing about these is that there is 0 chemical odor after 1 wash (and I bet the 1 wash is from going through the mail). They're good quality. I'm 5'4" and 175 pounds and bought the size 7 that was appropriate based on the size chart. They are just too big. I will size down, but I suspect they will still be too long (normal for me; I just live with that) and a little baggy for my liking. The drawstring is super thick and looks funny under shirts. I also wish there were a way to fold down the waist as someone with major GI issues, but drawstring is better than elastic and the fabric is such that I can pull the top down. These have the major advantage of having neither compression nor elastic at the bottom that you find in most sweatpants and most leggings. I really wish Cottonique made these in more of a yoga pants shape (not baggy but flared at the leg without such a high waist or better yet a fold down waist), but nowhere sells those pants anymore and I'm not sure you could really have a fold down waist with a drawstring. In spite of everything I mentioned, I plan to try again with a smaller size and possibly buy a different drawstring because I have yet to find anything that comes close to fitting my extremely specific requirements as these. And if you're not short and really like sweatpants, these are probably absolutely perfect. But they are also the closest thing to non-poison yoga pants available anywhere.
I am STILL wearing the loose, scooped neck t-shirts I bought 25 years ago. Since then, this seller has changed suppliers because the shirts now burn my skin. Also, people with chemical sensitivity do NOT want tight, form fitting shirts. I just have to continue to wear these ancient ones. The shirts bought since then are used as rags. I CAN wear the pants in a large size even tho I am a size 10. (I cut them off to shorts level so they don't burn my skin.) Too bad this is the only game in town.
Just received my newest pairs of lounge pants, and I love the new tie on it, it’s real different from what I’ve had. Thank you for changing it.
Been wearing these since 2015, and I love them. Love the length being long, and the bell or flare style. Never change them.
Only thing, I was reading reviews, and might have to agree with the belt, could be a bit thinner.
Comfortable and warm. I've been wearing as sleepwear as well as an under layer in the cold winter months.
Very comfortable. Drawstring tie is bulky. Organic 100% cotton is good on my skin. Plan to wear the thermal layer underneath this winter.
Love that they are cotton, wish they came in a navy blue, and that the drawstring wasn't so thick. They are very comfy and slightly fitted, makes your figure look great. Glad they aren't a skinny fit or too loose. Love the slim flare fit.
My most favorite, but it’s thin only suitable for home and you have to pick the correct size
