Q. Are the dyes used in your products eco- friendly?
A. All dyes used in our colored garments are Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria.

Q. Are all your products certified organic?
A. Yes. All our items are certified organic. We ensure that all the cotton used in our garments are organically grown and adhere to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Our raw materials supplier duly complies with the Control Union Inspections & Certifications India Pvt. Ltd. - Navi Mumbai, one of the control unions accredited by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS is the stringent voluntary global standard for the entire post-harvest processing, which includes spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing and manufacturing of apparel and home textiles that are made with organic natural fibers.

Q. How long does it take for stocks to come in?
A. We usually receive new shipments within 3-4 weeks.
If a size is not seen, it means we do not have/ make such size.
And if a size has an X mark, this means it's SOLD OUT.  We're still waiting for stocks to arrive.  The best way is to click the "NOTIFY ME when my size is back in stock" button located at the left side of the item page so you'd get an email as soon as stocks arrive.
Please make sure you choose the size you're waiting for before clicking the NOTIFY ME box.

Q. What is the difference between ORGANIC COTTON and 100% COTTON?
A. Organic cotton means the cotton was grown without using any chemicals and pesticides, even the surrounding environment is pesticide and chemical free.
100% cotton could mean that the cotton was grown using chemicals and pesticides.

Q. Do you ship to the UK or any other countries outside the USA?  And how much would shipping cost be?
A. Yes we ship to the UK and countries outside the USA.  Just choose the country you are in during check-out.  And shipping cost will be shown to you before you enter your credit card information to complete your order.
But may we remind you that import tax might be applied once the parcel reaches you, which means additional cost up front on your part.

Q. How do I make an online order?

A. Just click or go to the item/s you want, then choose the size and click ADD TO CART. When you're done adding item/s you'd want to order, on top of the page click CART icon.
Review your item/s,  then click CHECKOUT.
Input your shipping information, then click CONTINUE.
If you have a different billing address, this is where you'll enter the information after or before entering your payment method.
Don't forget to review the item and size you are ordering and make sure it is the item & size you want, before entering your credit card information to complete your order.

Q. Where does your cotton come from? And where are your products manufactured?
A. We import the organic cotton from the USA and India, and manufacture the garments in the Philippines.

Q. What type of thread is used to sew the garments? And how are the seams made?
A. We use polycotton (a combination of cotton and polyester) thread to sew our garments. We used 100% cotton thread in the past, but  it's almost impossible to create one garment as it's too delicate it easily breaks. The only option was to combine cotton thread with polyester.

We now have the regular stitches and seams for our items so it's now in the inside part of the garments unlike our original design that was sewn in the outside part of the garment.

Except for our Sale/ Discontinued items, infants and kids collection, they still have the original seams on the outside of the garment.

Q. Do you have any catalogs you could send me?
A. We no longer have catalogs.  The complete items we have are in our website.

Q. Do you accept checks as mode of payment?
A. We do not accept checks as mode of payment. We only accept Credit Cards (VISA, Discover, American Express & Mastercard) and Paypal.

Q. How does the product fit? And how do your sizes compare to other companies?
A. Due to the absence of chemicals to enhance the resilience of our the cotton, our products do not stretch as much as standard cotton clothing, for this reason we recommend you order a size larger.
We have limited sizing in our items, available sizes are in each item page.
If a size is not seen, it means we do not have/ make such size.
And if a size has an X, we're still waiting for stocks to come in.  You can click the NOTIFY ME button so you'd get an email once stocks arrive.

Since our products are 100% cotton, sizes fit differently compared to regular products in the market due to limitations in elasticity. This is why we recommend that our customers refer to our size guide, and also to order a size bigger to allow for shrinkage.

Q. What should I use to wash my Cottonique products?
A. In washing your product, we recommend that you use dermatologist recommended organic based detergents or fabric softeners.  Machine-wash at not more than 40C.  Try to avoid the use of chemical-based softeners or chlorine bleach. We advise you to ask your dermatologist what he or she may recommend.
Do not use fabric softeners and chlorine bleach.
It's best to wash it with cold water.

Q. Do Cottonique products shrink?
A. Our products are made to allow up to 5% shrinkage.

Q. Do you use any dye, latex or spandex in your product?
A. Cottonique Products are 100% Cotton. All products are completely dye free, chemical free, latex free and spandex free for the Natural/ White items.

While we have used less harsh dyes for our Cottonique COLORED Collection (Black & Melange). These products are intended specifically for individuals with sensitivities to Latex, Spandex and Formaldehyde.

Q. When will I receive my order if I order today?
A. If you order today, and the product / size is in stock, you should receive your order within 3-5 business days.

Q. How do I return or exchange a product?
A. Based on our Return & Exchange Policy (http://www.cottonique.com/pages/return-policy) located in the bottom right hand corner of our website (Returns & Exchanges),

“We would be happy to replace, exchange or make refunds to you in the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your order within 14 days from dispatch. However, such items must be unworn, unwashed, unruffled in its original packaging and fit for resale and sent back to us at your cost, please note that this implies that you would be responsible for the cost of returning any merchandise to us.”

You will also need to fill out the return / exchange form on the said page to return or exchange items.

Q. Do you have retail outlets where I can purchase your products?
A. We do not have any retail outlets yet.  As of the moment the Internet is our only distribution channel. (www.cottonique.com : www.amazon.com : www.amazon.co.uk)

Q. Do you have latex-free socks or spandex-free socks?
A. We have latex-free socks or spandex-free socks available with size measurements based on foot length.

Q. When will I receive my refund?
A. You will receive it within 2-3 business days once the returned merchandise is received and confirmed it is in “Good” condition (see return and exchange policy). It will usually reflect on your statement at the end of your billing cycle.

Q. If your products are latex and spandex free, what holds it?
A. What holds our undergarments (briefs & panties) is a safely tested elasticized material, this is only used in some our collection. If you are considering elastic-free products, we have a completely cotton drawstring collection.

Q. How can I cancel or edit an order?
A. We can cancel an order as long as it hasn’t been processed and/or shipped out yet (Usually within 2-4 hours from completely making the order). Otherwise we are unable to make any cancellations or changes if it has been processed and/or shipped already. You can just send us an email or call our customer service hotline to follow-up or inquire about any cancellations or changes in the order.

Q. How will I know if my order went through?
A. You will receive an order number confirming your order was successfully shipped once the product is on its way, you will receive another confirmation with the tracking number. Once the product has been delivered, upon delivery you will receive a final email confirming delivery of the order.

Q. What should I do if I still have not received my order after 3-5 business days since I placed the order?
A. If this happens, it means that your order has been placed on hold because either the item or one of the items included in your purchase is not yet available. We need to wait for your item to be in stock before your order can be shipped out. Or you can send us an email query about your order at customerservice@cottonique.com

Q. If I exchang an item for another item, when can I expect to receive the new item?
A. You will receive the product within 3-5 business days once we receive the returned product/s.

Q. What are the tiny dark specks in the product that I ordered?
A. Those are actually cotton seeds inherent to natural cotton material. These are visible simply because we do not use any bleach or textile chemicals on our fabric. This is also to assure you that you are covered with the all-natural goodness of cotton.

Q. How are your products shipped?
A. Within the US, Cottonique ships through USPS, UPS or FedEx depending on the options seen during check-out. We have a 3rd party shipping partner doing shipping for us.
A. To Canada, via Canada Post.

Q. How are your products packed?
A. Some Cottonique products (SALE ITEMS) are wrapped in special paper and sealed in plastic to protect the product from contamination. The product in plastic is then placed in a box which is again sealed for your protection. The box is then placed into a shipping box or envelope.

For our regular items, the packaging are ziplocked and hot-sealed.

Q. Do you have a partner website in Canada so I do not have to pay extra for custom taxes when it reaches me?

Q. What if there are defects like holes in the product i receive?
A. There may be lapses in quality control division. If you receive a defective product, just send us pictures for documentation and fill out the Return / Exchange form in our website and we will send replacements free of charge.

Q. Do you have clothes that are allergy-free or hypo-allergenic?
A. You could use Cottonique products as inner lining to protect your skin from coming in to contact with harmful chemicals that may be in your clothes. We also have men’s collared shirts with hypo-allergenic wooden buttons. Some of our lounge wear styles may also be worn out of the house.

Q. How are Cottonique fabrics processed?
A. Our products are put through a hydro-cleansing process, cleansed with only water and heat.

Q. Are there any Oils or Turpentine in the finishing process?
A. There are no oils or turpentine in the finishing process. Cottonique is Oil-free and turpentine-free.

Q. How much would Shipping cost to Canada?
A. Shipments to Canada usually cost US$10.00 plus additional cost for taxes when it reaches you.  Though you can also visit our partner website in Canada: http://www.cottonique.ca

Q. What is your elastic made of?
A. The Latex and Spandex free elastic we use in some of our products is made from a synthetic material but not Polyester.  It is not organic based. We have been using it for the past years for people sensitive to latex allergy and have had no complaints.  And it is wrapped inside the 100% cotton we use. If you are unsure about the elastic we use though, you may opt to use our elastic-free products having the Drawstrings.

Q. Can your products go in the dryer?
A. Yes, our items can go in the dryer without a problem.  Just please try to avoid using any artificial softeners, and use the lowest setting in the dryer or delicate setting.
