The ties that hold the bra in place run right under the crease of the breast. I guess I assumed there would be some material under it, by design. But to, the string is right up against your skin, and if that's exactly where your sensitive areas are, well good luck. Once you try on the bra, they only give you store credit and you have to pay the $8 in shipping to take gamble on another style. I bought two because I guess I had more faith than I should have and am deciding whether to return both or just the unopened one, for the $8 shipping loss

I purchased this bra because the support bra that I have been wearing from Cottonique for years has been discontinued. I like the side ties because they are not obvious and they bolster support. But I had to take this bra to my alterations lady who is going to alter the straps of the bra so it gives me more support. I am size 40 C.

This may be my favorite bra I've ever worn. It is thick, plush, soft, and comfortable, and I love the side-tie mechanism as an alternative to elastic. The bra also came with an extra tie which I appreciate. I will say I am on the smaller-chested side and so the support provided by the ties is enough for me, but it might not be for those with larger busts. For sizing reference, my bust measures around 34-35 and my underbust around 28-29, and the 34B was a perfect fit for me.

I have been looking for an organic cotton bra and was excited to find cottonique. But unfortunately, I can't give a good review after buying their bras because they dont actually do what a bra is meant to do! I am not even comfortable being around anyone except my husband when I'm wearing it, the bra is thin and does not hide your nipples. In fact, the seams in the middle of the bra make it look even worse. I tried putting some cotton nursing pads inside the bra for some padding but due to the weird seam that doesn't lay flat it STILL looks like my nipples are showing through! I'm so disappointed that I spent SO much money on bras and they don't even work! I'm marking the size as too large because even though I feel like it fits about right after washing; I feel like maybe if it was too small it might smash me more and be a little less obvious. But honestly I don't think anything would help unless they get rid of that awkward seam in the middle of the bra otherwise the nursing pad idea would have worked and it totally still looks like knobby nipples poking through! 😡

Sizing was not consistent with other bras.
Does not lay flat, so, things do not stay where they should!

I’ve struggled with a rash under my breasts for a long time. I’m allergic to latex, elastic, etc. These bras do not make me rash at all!

With a few adjustments to the design, this could be a really nifty bra. As it is, the crossover style is great on one cup, as the tie doesn't come in contact with the skin, but the other cup allows the tie to ride up underneath so you have a tie pulling across your bare skin. If the cups had a wide band attached to them so the ties would always lay on top of that cloth instead of you, this would instantly be a better design. It feels mildly more supportive than the Drawstring Bra, though there isn't a great amount of support in either; and as with the drawstring bra, if you wear the bra liner underneath the problem with the ties is alleviated.

I could return for refund if I hadn't already washed them. I love the cotton that does not cause irritation, but the ties just don't work for me.

I love these cotton bras. The strings needed to be a bit longer and cottonique gives you extra stings with the bra. They have thought of every thing! Thank you Cottonique for these wonderful products!

Finally a bra that doesn't have all the spandex/rubber and chemicals. No more rashes!
I love it's adjustable fit, since it's so hard to buy a bra online. I bought different sizes to try and they all worked for me. Takes a little getting used to, but when you figure it out, the fit is wonderful. This side tie, and the front tie are my favorites.

This bra was a game changer for me. With my recent allergy to all latex and elastin products I finally am itch free all day every day!

it takes a little getting used to to tuck under the ties but very comfortable and unique, fits well. I'm small chested so most thing fit well

I ordered same size in different styles. This style was WAY too big while the other was fine. Style also a little complicated and not as functional.

Here is the problem—I opened the front tie (white) first. I shortened the straps on each side, but when I wear the bra the sides come up and cut into my underarms beneath my armpits.

I am so grateful to finally after 40 years, find a bra that works for me. No irritation, no bitting into me, adjustable as needed.

material is very soft & has improved skin sensitivity i that area. however, there is little support if you need support & the whole side tie & button front design is a bit hard to put on. i adjusted strap to it's last adjustment & it still has little support.

This bra is absolutely divine. It is soft and comfortable. I will say that it has a learning curve, so be patient and spend the time to adjust it to your liking. I followed the measurement guides, and they are true to the fit.

The bra has absolutely NO elastic, or support in any way...until you tie it and make the proper adjustments, then...WOW! I just got it today, and had to try it on immediately. AMAZING!!!

Thank you for making such a wonderful agreement. I truly never knew that wearing a bra could ever be this comfortable. :-D
